Oscars 2012: Nominees

Today were anounced the oscar nominations, and you can see the entire list here. But to sum it up: 11 nominations for Hugo, 10 to The Artist, War Horse and Moneyball have 6, The Descendants and  The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo have 5.

From the nine movies nominated for best picture I've only seen two (The Help and Midnight in Paris), but slowly I intend to put the number closer to nine and decide for wich one I'll be betting. And you, wich one is your favorite?

Some opinions... it's impressive how Jessica Chastain goes from unknown to being in seven movies the last year and receiving an oscar nomination, it's a great achievement even if she doesn't win. Funny how Drive, so applauded by the critics, only got one nomination, in sound editing. And it's still not this year that Leonardo Dicaprio takes the oscar, this time he didn't even got a nomination. Who is Demián Bichir?!

Hoje foram conhecidos os nomeados para os Óscars, podem ver a lista completa aqui. Mas resumindo, Hugo tem 11 nomeações, The Artist recebeu 10, os filmes War Horse e Moneyball tiveram cada um 6 e The Descendents e The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo 5. 

Dos nove filmes nomeados para melhor filme apenas ainda vi dois (The Help e Midnight in Paris), mas lentamente espero chegar a ver os suficientes para que possa ter uma opinião mais fundamentada para um favoritismo ao prémio. E qual é o vosso favorito? 

Algumas opiniões... é impressionante a escalada na carreira de Jessica Chastain, passou de praticamente desconhecida a entrar em sete filmes no ano passado e a ser nomeada para o oscar, é uma grande conquista mesmo que não o leve para casa. É engraçado como o filme Drive, tão do agrado da critica apenas recebeu uma nomeação. E ainda não é este ano que Leonardo Dicaprio ganha o óscar, este ano nem direito teve à nomeação. Mas quem é Demián Bichir?!
